Lightsaber dueling.

I have yet to find someone who has decided to hold a training grouip for use with the lightsaber. For a long time I have dueled alone, practicing the movements of a lightsaber, and am now growing bored of being alone. I am requesting to those who wish to learn the saber/help others learn for a passion. I would like to organize the first Tucson Jedi Knights.

Hello and welcome to the TFF! My name is Chris and I am the CR here in Tucson. We have talked about setting up a weekly meeting to do some dueling at Reid Park but all attempts have fizzled out but do not get discouraged there are plenty of people in the area that have sabers! I must ask what kind of saber do you have? Dueling can be very hazardous to your sabers health if you do not have the right blade.
Last but not least give us an intro! Whats your name? How did you find us? How long have you been a fan? What are you in to ie RPG, Minis, video games, books/comics, toys and costuming?

I found you out because I had seen a group in NY that had what you call a Jedi Academy so to speak, for years I have trained n ot with expensive blades, but just those cheap toy ones at the stores. It is very....sad but I have done ti alone so there is that reason. nontheless, my name is Adam, and it may sound odd but with my fascination with Star wars, that I have written a screenplay for my own version of a Star Wars story. I enjoy the games very much, but am mostly proud of what I have learned from it. My entire search for the great mystery have been pushed by the magnificent stories of the Sith. I have learned meditation through my own darkness, my fears and angers. This is not a joke by any means, I have honestly been learning to tap into the very eseence of your souls, but my mind is only focusiong on the power of it, the title is as it is, through passion I gain strength. i admit my skills with the saber among other people would be poor, but I am still very interested in helping to found the Duels here in Tucson, with as much help as anyone is willing to particpate. I am an avid Star Wars collecotr in terms of toys and such. My family has been collecting them since it was first introduced. Nothing has been oopened, all still in the package as it was 30 years ago.

Dueling can be very hazardous to your sabers health if you do not have the right blade.
Hey, for the Episode III premiere we only had 4 broken sabers.
Granted the rent-a-cops threatened to arrest us if we continued to duel...
