December Meeting Follow Up

This is just a follow-up from our meeting last night for those that were unable to attend and may not have already been told what is happening.
Yes, I have skin cancer. No, it is not the deadly type. Most likely Squamous Cell which is also quite common and easily removed. The most common is Basal Cell. It is in/on my left ear and there are two with a possible third developing. In a couple of weeks(when my Dr. returns from vacation)I will have them removed and then the ear jokes can truly begin.
The worst part of this will be learning to use the other ear when talking on the phone. As the Wizard says this is just a little upset before the holidays. Again, this is no big deal but thank you for the concern.
My goal in life now is to become an Impressionist painter.

my apologies to everyone for my absence, two months in a row. i have been incredibly ill and otherwise occupied with my lavatory.

MP, it hurt my heart to hear about your foreign body, but I am also glad to hear that it can be gotten rid of.
I had a great time seeing everyone, and it was an especially nice treat to see Michael and Kyle, not to mention their 99.99% finished C3PO that looked amazing. It was neat to see a prop such as that up close and personal. I am still in awe of the finished product.
Missed those that couldn't show, but it was good to see one of you in particular at the movies today.

I think you guys can make some kind of joke that MP completed her Padawan status, but the lightsaber "slipped" when her tail was cut off. But then that would imply she's a Jedi, so I'll just scuttle off now.

I do not believe that I would trust a Jedi with a lightsabre, let alone be training with one. Eewww.....so jsut keep scuttling.
