Returned from Pasadena last night tired but feeling pretty good. The Force was with us on this trip.
The Wizard and I found a great spot to park the car 50 feet from the parade route that only cost $10.00 and was inside. We walked around talking to people and watching the massive crowds trying to find there seats, etc. The Wizard had wanted me to get a bleacher seat as he was worried that we might have to do a lot of walking, but I told him that I would perfer to be closer to the parade itself then sit and watch from a distance. So we finally found a nice spot that was close to the street and enjoyed the view.
I have never been to the parade before so it was exciting for me and the Wizard has been a couple of times so he was more aware of what to expect. When the first float appeared he was ready with camera. As I said we were right next to the street and it turns out in a Star Wars family group also. One couple had recently had a costumed wedding so it was great talking to them when we got the chance.
The parade in general was great but the Stormtroopers were incredible. The Endor float was very pretty and I liked the orange birds in the tree. The Naboo float looked really good and there were three Padame's in original costumes. But I have to say that watching the Stromtroopers march by was...well, it was. I thought they did such a wonderful job, as did everyone involved, but the troopers have always held a special place for me since my first action figure.
Good news is that we did not see our stalkers which made things even better. We went ot see the floats later but decided not to wait in the massive line. The Wizard was dressed, of course, and people kept telling him how great he looked and wanted to take his picture.
So, I have to go through and orgainze the pictures and then I will post them.

Bette there should just be an option in your photobucket account that says to not make people login to view your photos.
