Hello. Yes I knew a Mary Thomson a few years ago. Could you be her?
Questions? Have you been to Visalia? Were you a fan of the original BattleStar? Did you know Kim and Josie?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you may be Mary Thomson.

Wow.
It has been a long time although I did see you from a distance at LosCon a few years ago. What have you been doing? The last I heard it was medical transcription. Still involved in fandom-as before with costumes etc?
Important question-are you going to CIV?

See everyone, this is where the old folks start sitting on the porch in their rockers -- I'll bet there's not many people who even remember Douggie cons, and none of the new people are going to know --

Well, back in my day we had to sign a pledge to support and worship ol' Douggie. And we did it! And we liked it! Otherwise we wouldn't be allowed to go to the convention. Yes, those were the days...when Klingons had human shaped heads, Sandmen were always on the lookout for runners, and a Darth Vader costume was a rare sight.
