Just a reminder that Saturday, March 24th is "Fan Day" at the California Science Center installation of "Where Science Meets Imagination".

Fans are encouraged to come in costume, see the exhibit (where flash photography is allowed!), ride the Millennium Falcon simulator, check out the to-die-for exhibit gift shop, and enjoy some of the events scheduled throughout the day:
Costume Contests with Prizes - Group Photo - Droid Demo - Saber Demo and Combat - Road Squadron vehicles - and more!
**Admission to the both the Science Center and the exhibit is free Millennium Falcon Simulator is $2. Due to estimated high attendance, it is recommended that visitors purchase IMAX show tickets -which provide a Priority Admission "fastpass" entry right after the film- to ensure entry into the exhibit. All others will be admitted on a first come, first served basis, subject to the exhibit's attendance capacity (admission cannot be guaranteed). **

 (I keep posting but not posting, so once again.)
The Wizard, Barriss, and I are going tomorrow to Fan Day. WE are hoping that on the visit in March more of our members will be able to attend. We would also like to include FIDM in one of these trips.

We returned home about 20 minutes ago and I wanted to report that we had a wonderful time. This trip was very much worth the time to drive down and the cost of gas and some food. Yes, it was a day trip and we are tired but it was still fun.
The children were great and so interested in what was happening as were many adults. The exhibit is great and of course getting to ride the Falcon is an experience.
Glad to see everyone there and look forward to next month.
