Arthur C. Clarke died this morning. He was one of the Grand Masters of science fiction and he will be missed, but the legacy of his stories will always be with us.

 Yes very sad. Several of his works made an impression on me when I first read them and continue to do so even now.
He was much more the 2001: A Space Odessey. My favorite will always be The Star. It gave me pause.
He will be missed.
