Just make sure you guys pick a theater in St. Paul. That would be REALLY nice
Well for episode 2 there wasn't very many theaters interested in working with a group like ours. Truth be told we couldn't get the time of day out of most of them.
It wasn't until we contacted the owner of the Mann theater chain that we started getting some response.

Personally, I don't care where we go myself, I just want it as a group. Eden Prairie, Champlin like last time, St Paul... as long as it's a good theater that'll work with us, I'm open to it. The new theater at Southdale is really nice too... Once the new year hits, we'll be exploring this in much more detail, so stay tuned.
As they said in my favorite movie...

Yea just as a reminder to everyone it wasn't until Mid April before theaters even admitted they were going to be showing the movie so I expect you'll have to wait until at least april before we know all the skinny.

Carmike Windsong (so idea how to spell it, but it sounds like that  ) is really nice....that's the one I'm planning to go to with friends. THX sound and the biggest screeen I've ever seen.

Wynnsong is a good theater and I've seen many a picture there. That is definately on the list as a possible theater for Episode III for the MN Force along with a number of other good ones here in town. If people here want to hit their own theaters, that's fine. However, the majority of us "in costume" are going to try to coordinately a midnight viewing with the 501'st guys in town and make it a big event, like we did at the Champlin Mann theatre for Episode II. And of course we'll be posting it all in our ezBoard as well as here once we know, which may still be awhile. And we hope once posted, we get a great turnout, so all of our online friends are definately more than welcome to join us!

It seems more likely I will see it here in Fargo, I actually thought of getting tickets for a Pay Per Veiw at the Target Center but they were $175 for the most expensive seats and $20 with the cheapest and with the $20 ones you were not guranteed good viewing so forget that.

I've seen a late show, in the Eden Praire Mall. If you want to go to the midnight showing like me, make sure you park on the top level, they close the mall down except that enterence (next to the food court) on top. I'm not a big fan of the Carmike or Regal 16 (at least compared to others) and Lakeville's sound can be too loud. Showplace in Inver Grove Heights is nice theater and there was a nice size line they're last time. If you want the best seating in the state and are ever in the area, the Chateau in Rochester has great seating, probably the best theater overall in the state.

Figuring out where the "BIG" night will be for the majority of the group will be happening soon I hope - Some theatres are begining to respond - STAY TUNED_ btw - the Eden Prarie theatre has a DIGITAL screen - saw the trailer there with ROBOTS - Impressive, most impressive
