Hey guys, first post ever on the boards here. I just got my midnight show tickets at the Eden Prairie AMC 18 in suburban Minneapolis. I also picked up some for a show later that day at 12:45 in the afternoon. So it's Star Wars, sleep, and then more Star Wars. Woot. If you live in the Minneapolis area, the Eden Prairie AMC is the only theatre in the area with DLP, ask for theatre 3. Hope to see you there.

Actually we're already working with another theater.
We're just waiting for one more "suit" in the theater chain to approve our deal and we'll be making an annoucement.
It's a 95% done deal though. But it's not EP.. Sorry.

I've heard that the digital version is slightly extended and different than the standard version. If so will this be a factor in where any of you groups are going. (I'm still trying to find the most convenient theatre for where I'm living, don't know any theatres, but wouldn't mind making a longer drive)

We are planning to go to the Digial theater the following week as a group.
We have a theater already set up for our event. We got the final word from the suits and I am just waiting to see if there are any final objections from anyone in the club before making a public announcement. 
If it's a go I'll make an annoucement on Sunday night.

sounds like fun! that means we'll have to bring picnic lunches. hey, you could tell that to your grandkids when you get old, "I ate lunch outside the theater to see ROTS on opening night!"

i saw somewhere that tickets will go on sale around the twentith for fandango. thats were dejade_vu, me and the rest of our gang is getting them from.

Hey lea! we are in the process of getting the tickets. I went on to fandango and wynnsong isn't up there for opening nights. So I chose Kerasotes Showplace 16 in innver grove heights. its only 13.5 miles, not that far. I'm glad i had the feeling to check at fandango. those tickets are going quick.

I'm sorry, but you can go to fandango.com and look for yourself. type in area code 55113 and you'll see. besides, it's our luck that allyssa will be able to go, since that's not far from her house. we (allyssa and i, and if you want to come to--if your up to the challenge. bring your bike then, or you can ride mine and i take dads ) were planing to after school on the 19th, since we have a half day. the plus side is that since poeple will be working, we don't have to deal with crowds.
are you by chance going to be in the cities around the six & seventeenth? you could come over and help set up. but the sixteenth i have a full day. A waste of time since all we'll be doing is studying for our finals.:p Thank the lord that our last day of school is the 19th

OK... Minnesota Fan Force people... can you please make up your mind as to where we are goin' to see it so we can buy tickets? I would really like to see it w/ all the fan club people ( I liked it at the richfield best buy for OT on DVD and I have a lot of friends that would have a great time seeing all of you ). Not to mention, I'll probably do a story about it for school. But I'm just getting really paranoid about all of these tickets being sold in advance and not having mine. I don't like waiting so long to get them and I am holding of on which theater to go to based on what you decide. I'm torn between digital, fan club, or seeing it at the same theater as one of my she-friends and her brother. If you guys are seeing it too far away or at a place that's sold out then I need to get digital tickets SOON, and if they are sold out, then for the other place. I just wanna know so me and my ten buddies can get tickets, even though we'll be in line all day anyway. Thanks that would be great.

Ok, so i e-mailed them and yeah they are selling the tickets now, at least oakdale is. But allyssa will be able to go if we go to the showplace 16. i personally haven't been there, but from what she's been telling me it sounds like a really nice theater. And like me, she wouldn't recommend a junkered like Har Mar. though its good when you want a quick movie, for me that is. all i have to do is bike.

no she can't come. finals and everything. screw them. And if we don't go to showplace she can't come. I'd like to go to wynnsong, but i already told alisha that they weren't showing it. looks like i jumped the gun to soon.
Plus from the sound of it, it sounds like a good theater. She won't shut up about it. She's like my dad and me. graphics mean everything, along with great sound, picture quality, food, and chairs. It has stadium seating, and its around the same distance. to a degree. I trust her on this, and she's desperate to go. you should see her. every time i bring it up, its the same. "You have to go to showplace! It's awesome! great sound,picutre quality is awesome too!..."ya,de,ya,de,ya...you get the picture. she's basicly kissing my feet at this. Yeah, i know i'm falling for it, but like you she's dying to see it with us. Since we met basicly. like us. plus, we are already in the process of getting our tickets.
