Ep3 Excitement

Anybody else excited about the MOVIE? Who cares if people come to YOUR showing, or YOUR theater. We're all going to see the same movie. The where's and why's don't really matter.
We're going to see Palpatine vs Yoda. We're going to see Obi layeth the smacketh down all over the movie. We're going to get the low-down as to how that cute little kid turns into the ultimate bad @$$ in the universe. We're going to understand how the normal looking Palpatine turns into the creepy wrinkled old man. We get to see Luke and Leia. We get to see the ultimate lightsaber fight.
Anybody else excited about THAT? Or are we all going to be petty and selfish?
I know there's alot of angry around here now. Just remember this is the board for the Minnesota Fan Force club. That's what the title of the board is. Others can hang out, but at the end of the day it's a board for our club.

I am so flippin' excited for this movie I feel like I might spontaniously implode or something silly like that.
You know, I made it through the first 2 years and 10 months of waiting for this movie just fine, but the last 5 weeks or so, and the upcoming 3, have been PURE TORTURE!!!

What worse is how much of it I've already seen.
Previews, pictures, the Novel, the RM spectacular at C3.
I can picture so much of the movie in my head already I am just plain geeerrshed that I haven't seen the whole thing.

Wow, there is massive irony in you're statement. A lot of people are angry, because you guys made it about your line and your theater (wiped out all but your line sticky thread when it came to midnight showings). I think you guys sucked the joy out of lot of people. I understand it's your board, but I thought that this could have been resolved without a cold sholder. Had they gone to the ez forums I would have completely understood, but this is the only regional board on the biggest Star Wars Fan Site. Even if you feel that Wahoo is taking advantage of you don't ruin it for all of us that can't make it to Coon Rapids. After all he in the same boat as all of us, planning for a moment that is surely going to be unforgetable. All I'm going to say is that you should be willing to share your resource for the good of all Minnesota Star Wars fans for this event that way everyone can get excited not just the people attending The Minnesota Force's line, which would help get people excited about Ep3.
Lost in this is the Karesotes willingness to offer Minnesota Star Wars fans opportunity in two locations to line up, camp out, and party like its the last Star Wars to hit theaters. Kudos to that company, for allowing us to be excited about the movie event of our lifetime. They are taking on risks for our sake and have the true heart of all Minnesota Star Wars fans.
Now, I will bid farewell for the night and finish off my Greivous-ized Skittles.

Know what - is IS about our line and our theater. This is the Minnesota FanForce's boards... not a boards for other 'casual' fans in MN to post about their events.
As for Wahoo.... he never contacted any of us about promoting his event on our boards. We were being nice and letting it slide until the MNFF as a group officially decided what to do about our showing.
Just because you aren't happy and things are going your was doesn't give you a right to get all cheezed off at us.
Now please... if you can't think of anything possitive to say don't bother posting.

I'm VERY excited about the movie. I have done a good job of staying away from spoilers. Besides the two trailers, and a snippet of a commericial here and there, I haven't seen much.
I'm avoiding the novels, comics, and all that until after the movie. I was thrilled to see that Kevin Smith gave the movie a really positive review, although I didn't read that because I know he has spoiler-ish information in there.
I enjoyed Hayden in Life As a House and Shattered Glass, so I'm hopeful that his performance will improve comapred to Episode II (which I still enjoyed). I'll probably watch the other movies once or twice in the next week or two to get ready.
Only 16 days left!

If your joy can be ruined by a club taking control of their own board, then you really aren't as excited as you think you are:p.
NOTHING can ruin my high now. I even plan on watching the prequels (which I HATE with a passion...but I won't get into that now:p). I'm actually excited. I didn't think I COULD get excted about a prequel film, but from everything I have read and seen this one was done right. (I read the Novel the first weekend it was out.)
I have been the loudest voice of protest for the prequels, and even I am excited about this one.

I heard from a friend in germany who has landed a position in 20 Century Fox this year and got to sit in on an "Executive Showing" - there were NOT a lot of SW fans in the audience of about 30 - and the whole place LOVED it - said best ever seen.......so my expactation and excitment meter went WAY high!

This is getting to be too much. I thought I had massive anticipation fever for TPM ... but this ... wow. I don't know what to do, for some reason I've been consumed with consumerism to stave my appetite for this film. I might actually die after seeing the movie, I really don't know what else to do after that, there are few things in my mind right now that can top this. Anywho, yeah, I'm excited to the point of insanity.
