I read that there were problems in Eatontown, NJ and that they got a print of the film in Chinese. Ouch!

At the midnight premiere at Carmike Apple Valley, the film melted during the scene on the Star Destroyer bridge. You could literally see the film bubbling and melting away.

As you can imagine we were NOT happy campers. After a while (it felt like about 20 minutes, I'm not sure if it was really this long) they got it running again for the last couple minutes. We got refund vouchers.

I guess this happened on all their screens that night.

We saw it again there on Sunday and you could see where the melted portion had been snipped away because the film hiccuped and one of the characters suddenly disappeared.

My son told me today that he heard someone at one of the Oakdale theaters had the film break rate at the beginning of the movie.
