Hey, did anyone else read in the paper today that Simon Pegg, of Shaun Of The Dead fame, is to be a villian in an upcoming episode.

That is going to be cool.

Yeah, Simon Pegg's great. For once the Daily Mirror had something useful to inform us about.

I really enjoted this episode. It's the first time this series has really felt like Doctor Who used to. That's not a criticism, it's just to say I felt very much at home in this one. And the effect for the aliens was (for the BBC) pretty good.

My Review for " the unqiuet dead":

Excellent episode and my favourite By far. WIth mark gatiss writing it it was always a chance to get slightly better Dialouge in it and mroe humour... whch he succeded in both accounts. Also more mystery about teh "time war". Yay

I honestly think that Ecclesona dn Rose is the best doctor adn companionship since sarah jane and tom baker.

BTW news on teh series one DVD... and im not liking it.

4 volumes to be released monthly each containing 3 episodes ( except voulme 2 whih has 4 and each are 15.99). the box set it out in the fall and its 60 quid about... its an outrage.

I agree, this was a "proper" Doctor Who episode. There were some wonderful hints at his past, the whole "Time War" mention was very clever. I seemed to get from that, that the Doctor feels somewhat responsible for what happened to those affected by the Time War. Might be interesting to see where that goes.

Oh, one of my favourite bits.

"You can't go out dressed like that. There's a wardrobe that way, left, then right, the left again, under the stairs, then fifth door on the left."

What a great way to let people know that there is more space in the Tardis that just what they have seen so far.

Good episode again. I liked the first two better, but that's 'cos I've always preferred the present/future ones to the past ones. I do think this episode compares favourably next to all other Doctor Who 'past' episodes.

Was that UNIT in the preview for next week?

Looked like it, wonder if they'll know who the doctor is?

Still, looks to be a great episode next week like.

A very good episode. This "Time War" is starting to really intrigue me. It seems that this war affected all the more powerful races. I wonder if that's why we're only seeing one Dalek in Episode 6?

I really liked the new episode, definatly the best yet.

You could really see something going on between The Doctor and Rose.

As for favourite quotes from the episode, see below.

Supposedly

I liked last night's episode a lot. It was considerably better then the 2nd episode.

Suspense, good villains, humour, and Charles Dickens.
Not much else you need in an episode

I wonder if that's why we're only seeing one Dalek in Episode 6?
It is still my belief that the Daleks were responsible for the war that ravaged Galifrey & other planets.

The Dalek's desire has always been to conquer the universe, and only the Time Lords stood in their way. With all but one of them gone, the Daleks would've been able to attack other worlds.
