I think the Judoon thing is series noobs getting confused with the Sontarans, with their helmets on they look a lot like Judoon, Sontarans are supposedly going to appear in the finale also.
The disappearing planet may be something new. I think the damage from the Time War has never been fully realised, many species were destroyed and many worlds were also. The Nestine Conciousness lost it's homeworld in the Time War, as did those tree people.
There was no telling exactly how long the Pyrovile had been on earth exactly, so hard to say what might have taken or destroyed their world.

Shada, and it wasn't a unfinished script. They never finised filming it because of a strike at the BBC.
The story was adapted by Douglas Adams into Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

Which rules out thier planet being destroyed in the time war (or by Davros) so we can take that one out of the equation.
And S.H.A.D.O. = supreme headquarters alien defence organisation, just get Commander Ed Straker on the job.

But we don't know over what time span the Time War took place.
If it was fought all across time as the name suggests, then any planet at any point in its history could be affected.
But it does seem more likely that it's something to do with the end of the series revelation, whatever that may be.

The Time War could not have been fought across Time, it would be too pardoxical. If, as you suggest, the Daleks and Time Lords kept skipping back and forth across time then it would have alerted previous generations of both species. They could then have altered the Timeline to ensure a different outcome.

I criticise it when it's rubbish (which is most of the time), but tonights - despite being a little heavy handed with the slavery analogy - was very good. Credit where it's due.
It was a lesson in what you can do if you smply transplant a good story away from Earth. It still works because it's a good story.

Dull, dull, dull.
And Mr. BBC please don't keep putting in snide little comments to try to throw a guilt trip upon the GBP. If you think that our clothes are made in slavery conditions then please complain to the shops and suppliers for switching to overseas manufacturers, the Chinese, Indian and British Governments for allowing it to happen but don't try and make the GBP feel as though it is all thier fault. I should imagine that Mrs Average buying a pair of jeans for little Johnny is totally unaware of where and by whom they are made as long as she can get them for under a fiver. I'm getting really fed up with Russell T. Davies and his little politically correct messages he shoehorns into every episode!

but if little johnny grows up to become some high-falootin' politician who bases his entire career and subsequent do-gooding and potential world changing decisions on some random throwaway comment on some programme he watched as a kid...?
that wouldn't be sooo bad.
