Well, GL hasn't ruled out Boba Fett appearing in the TV series, and he'd have a number of special keys to get him into places.
At least RTD gets continuity better then most people associated with SW do. He gave Davros a mechanical hand because he remembered that in his appearance prior to that he had lost his hand.
I could bet George Lucas wouldn't remember something like that.

I Don't think I ever had any issues with continuity and the PT :S
Oh, everton, to answer your question (sorta); don't get me started on the episode that followed that one .

The age of Leia being able to remember Padme was continuity problem (no acceptable explanation for that has so far been provided), the age of Owen & Beru given the time gap between 3 & 4, constructed Vader in ROTS had his inner cloak underneath his armour instead of over it like in ANH. Plus his crazy editing of the OT (Boba can't have a cloned accent ).
Plus if RTD wrote a SW episode there'd probably be multisexual characters and lots of kissing-for-the-sake-of-it type stuff. Plus his modernisation of Who to be with the times rather then sticking to old principles that made it good as it was (no romance with companions).
RTD is a capable writer, but his stuff seems to slide if he works on the same thing too long.

Lucas needs to hire the entire writing staff of BSG to do the SW TV show for him. 'Nuff said.

What? Why is their ages wrong? Owen and Beru must have been about mid twenties in ROTS. 19 years later, having run a farm in crappy conditions into their mid forties or so, they look about their age if you ask me.
And as for Vader, how is that even a continuity error? It's 19 years later, maybe he thought "ya know Tarkin, I'm gonna try the cloak on differently today..."

If RTD did the Star Wars TV show Boba Fett would be gay or bisexual.

Now what would you say you are Hal, a strapless:
or a half sleeved:
kind of a man?
There's also this nice one, has an air of sophistication:
