We wernt quoting a line of dialouge with that, we were quoting what one of the children doing the fear factor review said.

Although Im not entirely sure what the line was refering too, maybe Hartigan's 'crown' in some way.

Thought the episode was ok, nothing that special though. Prefered last years. Knew the main 'spoiler' already, but not the details so that was quite fun. They did that part quite well.

I really like Morrisey's character post-spoiler aswell.

We have a name for the next special aswell, begin the speculation lol At least it isnt the rumoured 'Rose Tyler: Earth Defender', which would of sucked more than bun-vac 3000

Maybe Planet of the Dead refers to a planet where all of Russell T Davies' story ideas end up? tongue

It wasn't bad.

I thought Morrisey was good and the Cybermen were effective as always. Wasn't hugely convinced by Miss Hartigan and thought the end seemed a bit rushed as though RTD suddenly realised he needed to resolve the problem and didn't know how (no suprise there then).

Cyber King itself was quite impressive, reminded me of Mastermold from X-Men.

Great nostalgia trip seeing all 10 incarnations grin

I preferred the Prom to the xmas show to be honest lol

Awesome little skit with the doctor (I said to bethoven I said I can knock out a tune, he said pardon)

'This is Gallifrey...' always brings a tear to the eye for me. Especially when they show Tennant cradelling Simms and losing it himself.

I know its an unpopular opinion, but thats one of the best episodes of this new series and thats my fav secene ever in Who. Murray Gold is a master.

That bit gets me too.

But yeah the proms were great, and "All the strange strange creatures" is great music to do essay work to.

Twas a fine performance, good match to the New Year's Day Concert earlier (Blue Danube FTW).

The kids were clearly astounded by the aliens, and Tennant's interaction with the crowd in the hall was very well organised.

Gotta credit Julien Bleach too, all that time in makeup just to appear as Davros for 5mins.

I always put that and now 'A pressing need to save the world' on if I need to walk somewhere quick or im late lol

And cheers for the hug, glad to know im not the only one affected by that scene. We finally get to see the Doctor laid bare in terms of the loss of his race and, if you watch it after 'the doctors daughter', his family aswell.

EDIT: Had about 15 min left of the Prom on Iplayer, just watched it. The doctors theme at the end gave me goosebumps as always, but when song of freedom kicked in, oh my lol

Live theme was awesome aswell. I really want to go to the next one, and this gives me huge hopes for the Star Wars one at the O2

Yeah - I replayed 'Song of Freedom' and the final theme a few times on the VCR. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Radio 3 broadcasted the Prom live I don't recall that part being on the broadcast. I think they had to cut away before that. I remember waiting to hear 'Freedom' and being disappointed that it wasn't on.

I don't think I know "A Pressing Need To Save The World". Is that from season four?
