Welcome to the new premises. You lot get through these far too quickly, you're costing the management a fortune!
Anyways, we've included a dungeon this time around, in case Richie's twin comes to visit again, but we're a pub, not an inn, so there are currently no rooms upstairs
Have fun!
The name has been chosen in honour of Michael Sheard, to remember one of the most fan friendly convention stars on the circuit. May be rest in peace.

1st post is mine
EDIT 1: That means I get the comfy chair in the corner with the nice foot stool by the log fire. toasty!
Now someone employ a barkeep and send them over with my bottle of Oban and a steak dinner. I heard we're serving food in this one? Richtea's cousins the chef in the dungeon I believe.
EDIT 2: Can we please find a name for the pud quickly this time.
EDIT 3: I'm leaving the spelling error above as it amuses me.

Just spotted that and edited whilst you posted.
I've not corrected though for the reason mentioned in the edit.
I am however trying to get fit at the moment (Diet(ish), rowing machine atc...) as I want to get out and hit some trails on the Mountain bike next year (£800 bike in shed fot 2 years gathering dust due to lack of fitness )
So guess what is on my mind a little at the moment.

Good luck mate, I have just cleaned out my garage to gain access to my treadmill that is sitting in there.
Also I need to get a bike soon so I can ride to and from work.
This will be beneficial in two ways.
It will help me lose weight and will save me petrol money (as I drive to work at the moment)!

I need to get my hefty yet surprisingly not fat (aside from beer belly) frame from 18st down to 16 before I can officially ride my bike offroad without damaging it through my weight.
My suspension forks have far too much sag in them to allow me to safely North Shore and due to my weight there isn't much flex in the frame which means that XC could put too much strain on the frame and damage it if I hit anything rough at speed
I really need to get down to 15 or less to do what I used to so I've gone all overly sensible with my eating
I'll hopefully have lost 2 stone by April if I get intensive enough on myself so I'll be set with fitness and appropriate weight for the start of the MB season.
It will also mean I'll get my cow like calves and buns of steel back which will please my missus no end

Just eat sensibly and you'll be fine
I manage to eat healthy and unhealthy foods in pretty equal amounts and it doesn't affect my weight
But I do think I should weigh more then I do, I often worry I am unhealthily thin. But I shouldn't let it get to me, thats how anorexia starts.

Unfortunately though not everyone is as lucky as you Richie.
I struggle to NOT gain weight even when I eat sensible and excercise.
My brother eats like a horse and never excercises and yet he looks like a skeleton.
It isn't as straight cut as ...

The simple rule for losing weight it....
Consume less calories than you use...
Simple really.
I clearly haven't been following this rule and I only started gaining weight when I was about Richtea's age give or take a little.

I love that 'new pub' smell! All we need now is for Jon to announce who is barperson for this grand looking establishment!
*goes to have a gander at the dungeon*

Well, after receiving 3 PM’s from 3 different people I have chosen the new pub barperson. I hope you accept this great honor and do as good a job as me. (I know that’s asking a lot )
The three PM’s I have received were:
DewbackRider88 posted: I think i would be a good be barman because i am reliable, trust worthy and i know my way around a bar!
I am also not a newbie, so that helps and am online enough to keep up my duties
Hopefully you will consider my application
ninjanoodlehead posted: Anyway, I would like to be barwomen because you are such a great barman and you seem to have fun, even if you have to serve people all day.
Also I would be polite to the customers of the pub and I am sure they would all think I was a great barman.
So please make me barwoman when the new pub comes around. I would do a very good job.
Thanks!
Black_Scout posted: Why does Suzy want be the next Barwoman, by Suzy
Seeing as my many attempts at drawing a pen to me across the desk using the force have yielded no results I doubt that any mind tricks I would attempt to perform here would work at all; so this means I can't babble on for hours on the subject of monkeys while you are sat believing that you are reading the most amazing essay on 'why Suzy wants to be the next barwoman'. Not that I need to do such a thing, such a distingused and experienced barman as you would see through such trickery. So to business...
To be honest I am quite a social creature; as you seem to be, showing being the bar person involves more than the abilty to pour a drink, which is a job that could be undertaken by a relatively enducated monkey, it takes real socialite to be a bar person. I can enterain patrons for hours with amazing tales of my life, or alternatively act as a sleeping aid with tales of my really boring life, either works for me. According to another source I am very imaginative and can therefore conjour up any topic of conversation to liven the place up; it could be anything from the philosophical debate on why we are here, to the totally irrelevent topic of why nobody believes Suzy's theory about the man-eating monkeys at her school.
I am also online almost every night so people actually getting a drink shouldn't be too much of a problem; and do not take that as an insult I think you were a perfect suitor to the job of barman; generally happy, chatty and funny.
Now I would try and think of a completely mind blowingly amazing reason why I want to be a barwoman, but you might already be very confused by the generally witterings and random thoughts of mine (its a genetic thing, I think). Also I can't actually think of one right now, buts that's only a tiny set back to the plan
So on a more normal note, I'll just write my name...
SUZY (see I know my name, that's got to earn me brownie points [face_pray] )
Well, after careful consideration I am pleased to announce.
I think you can all agree that her speech was the best and had the most effort put into it! So well done Suzy! I can finally get out my pipe and slippers and retire spending all day in a rocking chair! Wooooooo!!!!
And well done to Rob and Jenny. I’m sorry I couldn’t give the job to all of you. But you get a free drink on the house. I really didn’t want to choose one of you. Sorry.
So again, well done Suzy! I think this makes you the first ever barwomen! Unless I am wrong. Actually, does anyone know?
