Me and mates are seeing it at 10 tomorrow morning then cramming in the Simpsons Movie straight after before I have work at 4! Can't wait for both films especially this one

I watched it in it's entirity today, and was generally impressed.
The Transformers on both sides looked awesome, and their transformations and fighting were equally impressive.
I did feel that there was too much time spent focusing on humans, and the Decepticons took too long to all arrive in the film.
I was annoyed at the decision to not have Prime permanently wear his mouthguard, I felt he lost his cool look without it.
Megatron was powerful and cruel, but had an odd look and his alternate form was under-used and strange.
Starscream was the best villain by far.
The start and the first part of the film was excellent. Then it went a little flat in the middle when it had all the humans running around. The bit with the Autobots hiding outside the house was really not as funny as it tried to be.
Overall it was very good, I look forawrd to the next one.
Oh, and I was hoping that Devastator was going to be the giant made up of Destructicons, not a tank, impressive as he was.

Yeah, but you should really hide the text as to not spoil it for anyone who has yet to see the movie.
He didn't really show up till the end fight anyway, so it wasn't much of a loss. Though it wasn't really the Devistator we all know and love.
More a kind of beefed up Brawl. Which is fine really, as the super 5 robot combo probably wouldn't have worked onscreen that well.

Watched it last night...It was a good film to watch, the CGI was great and the sound effects,the tires screeching in midtransformation and such, made this film for me...It was funny in parts and they swore a load (the "S" word - Cant remember if its banned here -.- ) must of been said at least 20 times in that film :P Suprised it was a 12a...Anyways, I enjoyed huge robots beating the crap out of each other

I guess I was too old way back when the Transformers hit so never got into it so I didn't have anything to judge the movie on when I saw it yesterday. Got to say I was impressed overall particularly with the visuals and despite a jumpy storyline I really enjoyed it. My fave bit was the initial attack on the base in Quatar, awesome!

Aye George, I was happily surprised by Transformers. I was about the right age when the cartoons came out, and loved them, so this was a great reworking of a good childhood memory.
Some amazing scenes, the only thing for me was that the battles really were confusing at times, had no idea who was getting beaten up - possibly a side effect of not seeing most of the Decepticons until the end. I agree with Richie on Optimus' face guard, think it was a little odd at first but I did get used to it being down.
Autobot's Roll! Can't wait for the sequel.

I'm in two minds as to whether or not I want to watch this film. On one hand, I hate action films, almost as much as I hate Michael Bay and Transformers is just lame IMO. However, I do occasionally like take-brain-out-insert-into-jar movies. All things considered, will I like it?
