What a load of turd! It was like watching Gaytime TV (or I'm guessing thats what its like) and it was alot worse than last series with the queer stuff. If it keeps up like that then watch its rating fall drastically and then axed. How anyone liked that is beyond me- probably feel they have to say they like it! And the story line was crud! The only bit that caught my interest was teh Obi Wan reference. Get rid of the queer rubbish and get some decent storylines.

rolling_eyes

You could at least try not to be offensive about it. plain

My thoughts exactly Moosemousse. I don't object to what you're saying, just the tone. peace

It's a good show, it just has faults.

I'll highlight the bits I don't like.

Umm... it's a bit like using the *N* word in relation to someone who is black. They can get away with it, you can't. If you are black and gay [face_laughs] you get away with a lot more!! I personally find it offesive from whomever uses it, and I would prefer to see it returned to it's correct useage. peace

Exactly, it's the manner the word is being used in that people are objecting to. There's no call to be rude and on the offensive, it's just a tv show.

Actually, yes, it's part of the reason that I watch niether show.

I don't wish to enter either a flame war nor an argument on semantics over this. All I wanted was to voice my personal objection over a term that I find offensive. peace

Yes let's get back to slagging off all the bad non-"adult" areas the show covered. Oh... Wait...

Not quite Torchwood (because tonight's episode will be put into the 'Miss' category ), but did any watch the Wonderland documentary that proceeded it?? Was that real????? So wrong but so funny, you probably couldn't even try to write something like that!

Miss? I thought it was quite good - but would have worked better as a two parter. More suspense and the like. And Owen's line "Let's all have sex" was so Torchwood it, and Ianto's response, had me laughing for quite some time.

"just when I thought the end of the world couldn't get any worse" laugh

I liked it since it stuck to being Torchwood and didn't go overboard with silly stuff.
Jack was very remorseless, and it was nice to see Janet again, even if she is a slobbering violent alien tongue

I also watched the show afterwards and found it most interesting.

I found the second episode to be a mish-mash of poor-man's The Terminator, poor-man's Predator and poor-man's Bourne Ultimatum camera work. Terribly put together and executed. I'm glad I watched Wonderland afterwards because that was far more entertaining.
