I don't get lag that much, only when I am playing with my wireless friends.
Love the game, basically Halo 2, but the weapon balance is sorted and that is fine with me. I loved Halo 2. I had an excellent swords match.
Look for yourself
Made me feel like a hunter, jumping about slicing people. Ahhh the joy of escapism.

Finished Halo3 a few hours ago... and all I can say is that the thing about demons... they never die... they simply go away for while...

Well that is good, because if you don't like the other Halo games, don't waste your money. I never expected much change in it, but the equipment has made quite a nice impact. The weapons in multiplayer are also now excellently balanced.

The thing is, if you have a game series then you're going to have mimicing of the previous games... i.e. it was the game before, only better. Best example is the old classics of Doom and Quake. Heck, how many games have the Quake engine blantently and it's Quake only with different layout/settings/storyline?
Halo3 has much better graphics (and I thought Halo2 was pretty compaired to Halo!), better weapon balance as stated, and new weapons (poweraxe ftw!). In reality, that's what Halo2 had over Halo, but such is the way of series games.
It also has something that most games out there can only wish to have... a really awesome storyline! It ties everything up, brings it all to fruition, and it is very cool. It's amazing that you actually have chemstry between the characters and they are only digital images and voice actors! (Yes, GL, it can be done.)
Now, Halo3 had its problems, I admit that easily, but to me, it was like watching the third film of a trilogy, same people, same story, just the ending, I would have been miffed if they suddenly changed everything!
I am a bit biased as well, not only am I a fan of the games, but also of the community. Halo spawned things like RedvsBlue and I Love Bees. Bungie has been good to its fans.

I picked up my 360 premium and halo 3 today. Played through a few levels. EXCELLENT!!!
So far its the best game i've played in ages. First time i've ever played on a next-gen console so the graphics blew me away. Weapons are great now, nice new vehicals (mongoose FTW!) and great story.
But damn was that scarab hard to kill!
Edited the 'high ground' map too, so that its completly human. No alien tech at all. Nice little 'civil war' style thing. Plus propane tanks rule lol
But, the ethernet cable they give you is toobig for the internet ports on my pc and my modem. Cant set up live and whup y'all yet lol
p.s I heard you can have custom soundtracks on halo 3. But I cant figure out how to save music files onto the xbox hard drive. It says you cant save a playlist that isnt on the hard drive.

Don't get me wrong, I love Halo 1. Absolutely fantastic game, brilliant physics, great story and good weapons. Halo 2 had none of those.Is Halo 3 more like Halo 1?

Spent most of the day doing co-op on legendary. Love online co-op. If more games had that feature I would play though more.

Your mic is broken? But if you want to join us in the last 2 missions of legendary tomorrow just message me. I love the multiplayer deathmatches as well, but I often don't complete games now because I lose interest, doing it with someone else just makes it more compelling. When there was 4 of us it was great!
