Right, gonna need some help fromyou guys.
My router finally came today, but I cant get it to work. Why? Because I need to connect both it and my aol modem to the phone line at the same time. Now my filter on my phone line only has one dsl port. Meaning I can only have one of the two connected at the same time!!
Is there a phone filter or an adapter out there that has more than one dsl port on it?

I wouldn't know much about that technical stuff But i can assure you that you're not alone, Quite a few people I know have had the same problem with AOL

Found a dsl to 2 dsl splitter on amazon. That better work. If not thats more money wasted and another solution that wont work for me.

no idea about AOL or DSL routers - sorry 
I set my router up (cable modem) without too much trouble - My router actually accessed the modem during set up and copied the settings to itself rather than having to connect them both to the cable at the same time - is there a similar option for you?

Right, I tested my ethernet port and network card on my laptop. Turns out that was busted aswell.
So here is where I stand:
Ordered a dual dsl splitter so I can connect the net and the router to the phone line.
Ordered a netwrok card with ethernet port for my pc (dosnt have one atm, saves me using the laptop just to connect to live)
So, that is basically all I need to connect to live. Just have to wait untill the end of the week (fingers crossed) for the new bits to arrive.
Xbox Live better be worth all this hassel and money 
And I have decided on a gamer tag: ILoveLamp

Gamecentral just awarded Super Mario Galaxy 10/10, which for them is a very rare thing indeed. My copy should be arriving today or tomorrow

well according to this it should arrive in a couple of days.
Speaking of galaxy, i believe that my local gamestop was selling them yesterday and had a nice big queue outside, when we asked what was going on all we got was "the new wi game is out" but the link above says 16th so I'm real puzzled :s

See, I'm not that bothered about Mario Galaxy, but if my brother gets it for his Wii I might play it. I mainly focus on DS and 360.

It's out on Friday but my online order has already been dispatched, so that usually means it'll turn up before the official release date. Sometimes shops will sell before the official release date but it's breaking the law and they can get into serious trouble for it. It's a tactic often employed for big releases so they can rack up large sales because they'd be the only one's selling it, but they run the risk of getting caught-out. Other retailers will often spy on their competitors to see if anyone breaks the release date, and if so they either report them or copy them. Never a dull moment in the retail world

I saw this morning, I was shocked. The letters last week had them reply that the review would be up this week but it is good, you will just have to wait to see how good. I was shocked to see them give such a high review. This game has got me very excited now, and I don't own a wii! Damn it!
