The cut headbutt from AOTC makes me lol. Sunday was the first ever time I had *not* seen Jango's headbutt.

cos attack of the clones is a bloody awful star wars film,a bloody awful film and a bloody awful star wars film.
the odd redeeming feature aside, little clone wars snippets and some beautiful cgi compositing,it's a bloody awful film.

Today's Times has a Christmas TV section in their Culture magazine. It goes up to Dec 28. No sign of RoTS on ITV1 though.

No. They were films with a clever overall plot (poorly told though) and some great moments (intersperced with a lot of gash).

It didn't feel like Star Wars for a start. Warm and fuzzies aside, it wasn't even technically good. The CGI looked ropey, the acting stiff and the script cluttered and in need of editing/re-writing.

All the prequels had terrible scripts and were averagely acted by the majority.
I had no major issue with the CGI in AOTC. Coruscant looked great (I'd like to have seen them try and build a set as good as that). The Geonosis battle was good, all the big vehicles looked good. The Yoda fight was OTT, but it was the high point of a generally patchy film. The set pieces are the only thing that make AOTC watchable.

The scenery work in at least as good as the stuff in the other prequels.

I actually thought they were a number of far worse and more noticeable poor CGI scenes in ROTS, even if it is a superior film.

The Double-issue Radio Times that runs into the New Year doesn't appear to show ROTS being shown on terrestrial either.

Yeah, and the OT was a prime example of oscar winning acting and script writing. plain

The PT is 50% of Star Wars, so in a way it's impossible for it not to feel like Star Wars.

I'm content occasionally watching it on youtube..

And yes the OT's script wasn't great, but it had many better lines and more interesting talking scenes. Most of the talking stuff in the PT was either overly complex or badly delivered.

But Star Wars is supposed to be viewed as a whole, and in the end all the parts together work pretty well.
