Well, to be fair, he wasn't exactly doing his work.
I just liked how he could flip someone over and cause so much pain just by grabbing one finger.
At least he learnt something from The Company.

Interesting episode, although I'm getting tired of the Japanese part now. And when are Maja & Alejandro going to get to America? It seems every episode they're still a few days away from the border. It's getting slow.
Interesting painting revelation at the end.
I hope they don't kill HRG, he's the best character.

It's just going on a bit too long.
It was funny to start with, and now he's made Kensei heroic he should go back.
More episodes of them wandering about not doing very much and Kensei trying to be too english and be witty will not be very interesting.
At least the Mohiner-Parkman-company-Bennet story is getting more complex and interesting.
I am curious about Sylar now. Are his powers definately going to return once he's healed? 
He'll be pretty tough now he can create illusions.

I have to get it off my chest, but last night's episode on BBC2 was just awful. I liked the opener but it's gone down hill very quickly. I know the writers strike played a huge part in this, but would it have been possible to hire some new writers (who would probably be a lot better too) who aren't part of the Writers Guild or isn't this allowed to happen?? It makes me sick actually, especially when other people working very hard in the TV & film industry don't get anything like the money or treatment these "writers" do. They would have been better off postponing Season Two altogether IMO if things carry on like this.

There aren't any writers in Hollywood who aren't part of the WGA. Any who might cross the picket line would soon be blacklisted and have no chance of getting work.

That's what I thought Mustafar. On a side note, funny how George Clooney was a main supporter for the WGA during the strike but has now resigned from them because they refused to give him (a more then deserved) writing credit for Leatherheads. Says it all about the WGA as far as I'm concerned.....yes, they don't get a Christmas card from me.

The strike didn't happen until most of the episodes were written. I think only episode 11 (the last one) was changed at the last minute. Even the US Audiences complained about the "slow start" to series 2. Personally, I didn't mind it, because most of the stories were pretty good, even if they seem to have no relevence when they're being told, they do eventually add up to something.

Season 1 has a slow start, it's character and story building.
Trouble is, if you create a 24 episode story and only end up with 11 episodes, obviously much isn't going to happen in the first half.
They might have been better off making the whole season and then showing it all together. Fans can wait a bit longer for a quality show rather then half of one that isn't overly interesting.
Any news on season 3?
Or is it season 2 part 2?

The third season (which is basically season 2 part 2, Season 2 was originally supposed to have 2 parts, 2&3, Generations and Villains, they just had to wrap up part 2 early because of the strike) starts airing in the US in September, IIRC.
