Couldnt believe there was no thread for Brody!!
Found this out awhile ago while surfing the bc news pages.
Have to watch Jaws this week, fantastic performance by an under-rated actor.

As great an actor as Roy was, the thing that always stood out for me was how much he remineded me of my father.
But it was a more kind, caring, badass, cool version of my father you know?
But they are both very similar characters. Mens men who do what they had to and don't take no crap.
I'm going to watch Jaws again this week. One of the best films of all time and a truely great performance.

He wasn't under-rated. He was twice nominated for an Oscar. He hadn't done anything for a while, but it's still sad news.

I couldn't believe it when I heard the news, what a great actor I love JAWS and its funny this weekend I was talking to my brother about when to show my oldest nephew JAWS, so I think now could be the time to introduce him to that wonderful movie and fantastic actor Roy Scheider.

he was best in my opinion, in Blue Thunder and the French Connection.
