Wasn't too impressed about 2nite's episode. I mean, apart from Kyle Reese's brother appearing, nothing really good happened.

Aww, I was really looking forward to that episode too, thought there might be some sort of action and interesting plot development, what with Kyle's brother making an appearence...*le sigh* I'm still not put off this series though, i'm very impressed!

The whole series is well acted, has good SFX and reasonable plots but the humour is not on a par with the movies and it is all a bit dull I'm afraid. Will continue to watch but it's now because I have never really stuck with a series from beginning to end before and need to do it just this one time.

Do you think John has the hots for his female terminator then?

Me thinks he had some racey thoughts going through his mind when he deactivated her temporarily and she was incapacitated...hubba hubba wink He made sure he stroked her head tenderly just as he replaced the key and she woke up...

I still love this series and think its grown well. I have love for Metal Mickey too (but not in that kinda way) laugh

Am I the only one that found the ending a bit limp?? Hardly original, was it. Lots of people were raving about it but I just didn't get that jaw-dropping feeling.

All-in-all though, a good show. I hope season two sticks with the 9 episode format as it was just about right for this sort of thing.

I think the 9 episode format was because of the Writer's strike. Next season it'll be 13 episodes as seems to be the norm.

Yeah - the ending was a bit boring....was that becuase of the writers strike then? Is it more of a 'break' - like Lost did?

Coincidentally, I just found this article, here. The relevant part is.

That website posted:
THR: Among Fox's freshman shows, "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and "Back To You" are expected to come back next fall. Any others viewers shouldn't count out?
Reilly: They're really the lead candidates at this point. We've already started staffing on 'Sarah Connor.' Although it was an unusual season, it will end up finishing by far and away the strongest new drama of the season. Other shows have not gotten the traction. Just because competition is softer doesn't mean audience has to watch a show.

About the ending of this season, I was actually wondering if the schedulers had made a mistake, because this was the most un-ending like ending i've ever witnessed. Glad to see that they have big plans for the second however grin

And yeah...what was that guy from Eastenders doing there?!
