Right, time to explain what happened in that round.
There are 7 questions in the game. After 7 questions, it was 3-3 (as no-one got "prioritisation")
So it went to a tie-break (but the part with Clive saying "this is a tie-break" was edited out)
The first tie-break was "MZNG" and we both pressed our buttons. My light came on, but Clive started to ask the other guy the answer. Just as he opened his mouth, Clive realised his mistake and asked me. I said the answer (Amazing). Then the other guy complained, and filming was stopped. He felt it was unfair as he was asked the answer first, despite not being the first to buzz. The producers went away for a discussion and decided that the tie-break should be redone, which is the one we saw which the other guy won.
I wasn't happy with that so when I left, I complained to the producers and we both agreed that the best course of action was to give me the money I would have won, had I won that game. That was fine with me as I was going to retire after that game anyway

I don't see how the other guy had any grounds at all there if he hadn't actually said the answer.
But he's out already

What!?!?!? The BBC are lying to us via clever editing tricks. It's like Diary of the Dead all over again
Congrats though Hal. A great performance and that's a pretty tough quiz show

So I'm on the old iPlayer, and there are episodes 6,7,8,9 & 10 on there. Which one are you on, then?

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I beleive it is Episodes 6 and 7, or 7 and 8. 7 is a definite anyway.
