    Last of the Summer Wine and Porridge actor Brian Wilde has died aged 80.
    Wilde played Foggy in the long-running comedy series Last of The Summer Wine and Barraclough in prison sitcom Porridge, alongside Ronnie Barker.


    I liked him in Porridge, though I haven't seen the show in awhile.

    Quite a few famous Brits have died this week. (Arthur C Clarke, the English Patient director, Paul Scofield, and now him.)

    I don't really go in for being sad for people I don't know but I used to enjoy Last of the Summer Wine so it's a shame the two foremost characters have died now.

    Sad news - but I still have the good memories of it from my childhood watching it on a Sunday night. That lives on forever...
