I see what you're saying happy

In other news, I've remembered another 2008 film I saw, so my 3rd place goes to.....

You Don't Mess with the Zohan

An enjoyable romp, and Sandler's 2nd best film (after The Wedding Singer)

Surely Sandler's best (almost an oxymoron that) is Punch Drunk Love! It really is the only film where you don't feel the urge to punch his face-in, which is ironic considering the title of the film.

Great to read your posts Mark (Happy Ninja). Sounds like the projectionist at your former Showcase need a good slap, lol. I also think Insurrection is a good solid film which I always enjoy watching, although I also quite like Generations too wink

Generations is a superlative film, and is my favourite of the TNG films. It's the only one that "gets" what Star Trek is about. It's about life in the 24th Century, not "space porn" tongue

Exactly Hal, finally someone else who like generations (I still prefer FC though)

I have been watching season 1 of Enterprise this last week (dvd set is well cheap online now) and I have to say Im really enjoying it BECASUE it is the best 'exploration' Trek that you can get to be honest. TNG is good and will always have a place in my child-like heart, but season 1 and 2 of TNG are really pretty bad.

Anyway, topic time.

Films im looking forward to this year are (literally every film I know of that I want to see)

Star Trek
Watchmen (if it comes out now, Fox have once again screwed the geek community)
Wolverine
Tansformers 2
Inglorious Basterds
Harry Potter 6
Angels and Demons
Public Enemies
The Soloist
Toy Story (3D reissue)
The Taking of Pelham 123
The Wolfman
Kick-Ass
Terminator Salvation
Avatar
Valkyrie
Curious cas of benjamin button
The reader
Che (parts 1 and 2)
Milk
Role Models
Slumdog Millionaire
Revolutionary Road
Defiance

So yeah, busy year for me film-wise. Luckily one of my resolutions was watch at least 40 films I havnt seen. Not counting Toy Story theres 24 there, plus all the old filsm on DVD ill see, and the stuff we see at Uni for the course, and anything i'll see randomly at the cinema.

I wasn't particularly impressed with The Da Vinci COde, so I'm not sure how good Angels & Demons will be.

I'm never been a fan of the Dragonball Z TV show, but I know it is very popular, so the film version Dragonball: Evolution may well be a hit.
