So obviously this weekend is out. I've been crazy busy with trying to get a job. I'm trying to land a permanent job with the school district, and almost did, but the bureaucracy involved has been a nightmare. Like literally, I had been recommended for the job but one tiny error in the hiring process has started the whole thing over again. It has just been stupid.
Anyways, perhaps next weekend would be viable? Or Sunday at least. I have First Aid & CPR re-training until 4pm on Saturday (8/29).

Sorry, I've been spending my days looking for employment. I'm so sick of filling out applications. And I've found out, that the traditional method of asking for an application and turning in a resume, appears to be passé. Everyone, well retail at any rate, sends you to their website to either print an application and bring it back...or to sit in front of your computer for 45 minutes filling out an "application" survey.
And boy is there an extreme shortage of work around here. There is work...if I want to drive 30-45 minutes for minimum wage... I don't think so.
Oh boy...off on a tangent!
We definitely need to have a meeting though. But, NOT this Sunday. It's my mom's birthday and we're going to dinner.
Up for suggestions?

Wow, I must be in the running for worst CR ever. I'm sorry guys. Interesting fact: Did you know that unemployment is based off of previously earned income? Currently, I make more in unemployment than I would if I took a part time job at minimum wage. Makes it kind of hard to look at slumming that low. Alas, I may be looking at doing that if I don't get some call backs soon. 16 applications, 4 interviews, and still no work. Even Target is starting to look good.
Anyways, we NEED to have a meeting. I'm up for this weekend if we can put it together fast enough. Otherwise, next weekend, the 24th-25th is also good for me. Thinking lunch at the Olive Garden, Mimi's, or Topper's might be good.
