Hello! My name is Jake and I live in the DC area, or close enough to it that I consider myself from that area. I've been into Star Wars since I was a kid when they rereleased the original trilogy in theatres. I've completely worn out my 1997 Special Edition Boxset, and I'm starting the whole saga on DVD. Can't wait until next Tuesday!

Hi Jake! Welcome to the area and welcome to the Galactic Senate aka GS. You'll find we're a fun bunch. Currently we ought to be having a meeting around November 11th or 12th. I think we're combining it with a viewing parting or something of that Sort. our Grand Moff Stallion ought to be working on that.

Yeah haha I guess it depends on your outlook. Like we lived in a nice area of Arlington, which is what most people in the country think of when they think DC. They think the White House, Capital, etc. They don't really think about the crime and such.
