We're open for either the 16th or 17th, and a matinee should work.

*poke*

So, who could make Friday night (12/16) and who could make Saturday (12/17) either a matinee or an evening. I could make any of those three. My preference would be for a Saturday matinee because, hey, it's cheaper. Friday nights generally suck because of traffic. Saturday night wouldn't be too bad, but more expensive. Afternoon's likely to have lots of kids, though. But anyways, I can make all three. What about anybody else?

Bueller? Bueller?

One word of advise on this...

If you plan to see it in the afternoon, except lots of loud talking kids to be there.

I'm taking my son during the afternoon since I know he is going to want to ask questions during the movie or just point at the talking Lion and mention how he wants one like he does at home now...

When does this actually open?

It comes out tonight.

BTW, I'm no longer trying to get a group together for this. I got sick of waiting for some response. Target and I will be going to see it on December 12, prolly in Sterling if it's playing there. You're welcome to join us if you so desire.

I still don't know when we can go, so just post the review. Though I just reread the book, and remembered why I wasn't crazy about it as a kid. Looks cool though.

I'm going to see it next weekend with Brandon and some other folks up here. Right after our visit with the big guy in that red suit. wink

Chrissy, I MIGHT be commissioning you for some chainmail work on the costume I want to do from this movie...

Just needs to be done in time for Dragon Con.

I saw it and I loved it. If you didn't like the book, though, I can't imagine that you'd like the movie. I thought they did a good job of being true to the book.

I hated the books. HATED. But I loved the movie! So it is possible.

Of course, I'm sure a certain character's voice helped... grin
