Our very own domain name question

So, we got to talking during the last meeting about getting our own domain name and website for all our photos, calendars, links, and all that other stuff you find on the net. (galacticsenate.com is taken though) So, here's the question: is there enough interest in this for folks to chip in so the webmaster doesn't end up going thru all the work and then having to pay for the whole thing. Shouldn't cost much, from what I've been told, and it's something we could use our treasury money for. What say you all?

I'm only a honorary member so I do not know if my two cents carries any weight but the cost should not be much to run a private site.
This is the only FF Chapter I know that does not have a private site and for things like polls and other private issues, this will be a vast improvement over TFN.
And you can create your own TOS... 
I would love to see, and have access to, a private GS site. Why not call it COWS?
Oh and try to include Yoda in there somewhere...

Oh this will be so cool! Now I'll have a place where I can do nothing all day but post notices about my new theatrical endeavors while bugging the hell out of everyone by trying to convince you all to come see me!! I'm on Cloud 9 I tell you!
Do you think we should also post some stuff about other members on occasion or just keep it all about me?

The hosting I'm leaning towards is $8/month and includes the domain name. Not an awful lot.

8 bucks a month for unlimited access to "ALL THINGS BRUCE" (my humble suggestion for a domain name) sounds like a bargain to me! I say do it! Of course I'll be excluded from any such fees since I'll be providing all the exciting info about ME, but I'm sure the rest of you can scrap together the necessary funding.
This is so exciting!!!

No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth.
BTW my own website is hosted by an incredible webhoster, http://www.crihosting.com. I get over 20K hits a day and no service interruptions, EVER!
The owner is a good friend of mine and he is very hands-on and personable. Two thumbs up, WAAAAY up!
