Hi all
|
Hey everyone! I'm new to the Fanforce boards, but i've been all over the place in general lol.
Figured i'd drop in and say hey to people in my area(or.. close to it). But my name is Ashley, and i live in Dumfries Virginia... I'm a tad shy, so sorry if this isnt much of a post, but i wanted to atleast say hi to my fellow Star Wars fans.

I wanted to say hi as well, so I thought I'd use this thread rather than start another one and give strawbary an aneurism or sump'n. I'm new to these boards too. Didn't realize there was a SW club in the area.
Mostly a BIG EU fan. Got re-interested in the movies after reading a bunch of the books. Just put together a jedi costume and lightsaber hilt (mainly to win a Halloween contest at work -- hate waiting til the last min .. lol) plus I'm going to the MD ren faire in the fall with my brother's family and needed something to wear. (I understand Knights are welcome?) He is doing Cap'n Jack. Pretty original, huh? 
Also just reserved a room and a car for CIV. Staying across the street from USC campus. About a mile south of the convention center. That'll be my first big SW event. Pretty scary.
Stole this forum name from my guy in KOTOR2. Liked the play-on-words. 
Probly post up on the GS boards too, when I get more time to check them all out.

Minx, the pirates weekend is Sep 23 & 24. Not sure yet what day my brother's family is going but I can always go twice. 
Wendy, I'm not sure you'd like me much. I'm light-side through and through. Quiet thinker, listener, philosopher type. Don't talk much, and only move as fast as I have to. But I DO like sharks. Kept a fish-tank full of them (albeit very small ones) for years.
That costume is fantastic! You must have invested a lot of time into that. I have to say though, you looked a lot um ... taller in the game.
