Our meeting commenced at 12:50 at Dave and Busters in Bethesda.

Chas, who's job sucks, is on vacation

Lori officially quit and then promptly returned.

* The Dragon Con Bus. It has been decided that since the deadline has come and we still do not have the numbers we are looking for, the bus has officially been cancelled for 2007.

Discussed getting started for recruiting for the bus for 2008.
- Stephanie will still be point of contact
- Chas has been tasked to work out the flyer for recruiting for the bus as well as a flyer for general GS recruiting. These flyers should be ready in time for Balticon (Memorial Day weekend) as well as to be distributed at Shoreleave. They will also be on the flyer tables at Dragoncon.

* The May meeting has officially been moved to May 6th. Regular meeting day would have fallen on Mother's Day. We are planning on meeting at Tyson's Corner and then seeing Spiderman together.

* The History Channel has been in contact with some of the east coast Fan Force Boards about filming for a 30th anniversary Star Wars special. Eugenia is keeping track of this so that we may be able to get in on it as well. She'll keep us posted.

* Eugenia has been in contact with the Firefly Meet up group who is currently merging with the Lord of the Rings Group to save money on Meet up. The expense for meet up is nearly 20 dollars a month. Eugenia will be looking for information on the requirements to have a meet up group for the GS. Can it be for a few months or is there a year requirement.

The topic has been brought up if we ought to team up with the Firefly and Lord of the Rings group in the Meet up 'verse to save money.

More to come.

* Future events:

*Virginia Ren Faire coming up in May.
*King Tut tour in Philadelphia which lasts through September.
(What is the chance that the SW exhibit will be there at the same time and we can do both at the same time?)
*The exhibit on bodies in Rosslyn.

It was a good meeting location, so I vote we go there again. But if we have a larger group we'll want to make reservations.
