Ah, I've heard a lot of good things about this thread.
I'm a newbie and I'm proud of it!
Ylesly and D_D why didn't u tell me about this?!
To all who don't know me I am the FORCE-WIELDER leader of The League of Crimson Jedi!!
If this thread gets locked they will have to deal woth The League. BTW LadyZaraMarta wanna join all u gotta do is put me on ur WUL and put The Leagues name on ur profile and its done. Its for Newbies and some Oldbies r allowed.

Welcome LadyZaraMarta! 
Sorry to hear that your first thread is locked.  But I am glad that you aren't scared away because of it.
The YJCC is a though place to start for newbies. It's a bit different from the other boards around here. I would suggest to take some time for lurking first. Mostly you get a feeling how it works.
Did you get any reason why your thread was locked?
Enjoy your stay!
(Hopefully you don't mind that I post here as an 02er. )

I'm one of the oldbies, but I consider myself to be newbie friendly.
I know exactly what you mean about the JCC. Some of the users there can be so rude it's a wonder they're not banned. But then, that was some time ago that I formed that opinion. The so-called community basically drove me away from there. Much nicer at the Role Play Forum, my virtual home.
There was a question earlier about making polls. I may be mistaken, but I believe at the top of the forum, there's an option to create a new thread, and one to create a poll. I've never created a poll, but I believe that my info is accurate.
Then again, I just got off a graveyard shift and I'm not with it. Just ask LadyZaraMarta about a PM I just sent her. I have no idea how many typos are in it, but I know it's uncharacteristically bad for me. \
edit- just looked, and there is a link to create a poll.
