Though I have been around a while,I consider myself to be a newbie. I have posted less than 300 times in several years where my wife has over 6,000. Also, I have only participated in 2 or 3 threads. So do you guys and gals do you consider me a Newbie?

LadyZaraMarta, there are a lot of definitions about "how long are you considered as an newbie". Mostly it depends on every person her/himself. Some think, if you stay for a certain time or have reached a certain postcount you aren't a newbie. But in the opposite, some people think that everyone who joined earlier is an oldbie and everyone who joined later is an newbie, no matter how long they are onboard.
The adoption programm consider everyone who as more than 500 Posts and stayed here for at least 4 Months as an "oldbie".
But the most important thing is your own feeling and your behaviour at the board. You know you can be (act like a) grown-up although you are a child.
And if I may citate Morgaine, Pash and some other persons... There was a person who said "As long as you have to asking question, you are probably still a newbie".
(Ok, it depends a bit on the kind of questions. )

I have easily over 1000 posts now...and have been around since late August... + regrettably I have left my childhood years behind me.
Isn't it strange, when one is young, one can't wait to "grow up", become an adult.
...and when one finally becomes an adult in the eyes of the world, ...you want to go back to your youth!
I'm never satisfied...
