Hey, YmaSolo. Glad to hear you want to be adopted! It's the best way to get all the inside information and know-how on the JC!
I'd recommend checking out the first page of this thread and browsing the list of available oldbies looking to adopt. Once you find someone available, send him or her a PM and ask them to adopt you. That's the quickest way to get started in the program.
I hope this helps! Skiara will put you on the list of available newbies waiting to be adopted if you're still available when she gets back. Let us know how it goes, though, whenever you hear back from an oldbie master.

Just went to re-read old 2005 info... wasn't sure the list was still accurate there so no haven't PM'd anyone..
Is Free Masters list still accurate?

Yep, the list on the first page is up-to-date. I update it (or better ask a mod to edit the changes) every week. Only if there's almost no change at all, it might happen that I wait a bit longer. You can also see the time when it got updated the last time in the title. It always states "LATEST UPDATE....".
So, have you found any oldbie already?
