I am the slowest Padawan ever! Been having ongoing health issues and Etain is ever-patient with me. Even uses the 'low' setting on the shock collar to prod me along!

Katriene, you're not the fastest, that's true, but you're also not the slowest one ever. It also seems that you do the most important part: Staying in contact with your master, or better said, informing her whenever something happens in RL. If you keep up this and your current speed, everything's fine in my view. 
I hope the health issues are nothing really serious and have pasted already. Otherwise... Get well soon!

Yes I know of DRL, and soon he and I will part company...I hope for good in September. I have had three seekers of the forums. I must say first off, I am sorry for not getting back to you all in time. I do not know when I will be able to get back on for sure till September. Till then I need to be put on a MIA list till I can actually say I am back for sure.
Here in August, I have challenged DRL to a light saber duel, in which I have now stacked the deck in my favor, and I still have one more "Ace" up my sleeve to play. 
Hello Skiara, long time no post, I hope everything is going good, it is starting to get that way for me. I am in Gibson,PA at a truck stop, waiting to for August to get here and leave. I hope I can get on more, but now I play by DRL rules and not mine.  Well, I got to scoot for now, take it easy.

Gotcha . I will begin to shop...I mean, er...choose a newbie for adoption within the day  . Though, I must admit, I absolutely adore what you have done with the program since my leave. It so much more simplified than it was prior. Plus, I love the fact that you have combined two great programs (in essence- Jedi Temple and the Adoptions) together. Great job!
You'll probably hear from me regarding my new adoptee within the week...well, I should say, that is if I find one with similar interests that I'll be able to properly train up .

...although adoptions is still the same. I just changed the intro-text in the opening post - to make it easier to understand and shorter - and I added the training program (which is different to the Jedi Temple) including the whole list of tasks, information, website and everything - to add a bit more SW to adoptions.
It seems that a lot of people enjoy the trainings. But this isn't just my work, it's also the work of all adopters and masters out there, who give their best to help new members and give them a good start. Thanks to them all!
It would be great, if you find one that fast and I bet the new member will be happy as well.

Well, I think I found one that stands out as a perfect fit; however, he hasn't seemed to have logged in since July 7th...which sadly seems to be the case with several other new users listed (unless I'm looking at an older list).

That might be, but I give everyone the chance to come back before putting them off the list again. Maybe they have exams, are on holiday, got ill or have other kinds of fights with Darth RL. So normally I check the lists regularly and put off those, who haven't logged in for at least one month, because after this time it's unusual that they win the fight with Darth RL. But I also give them the chance to come back, if they want - and some come back.
So I suggest to send him a PM and wait a day or two. You're also allowed to take two padawans, so it's ok, if he answers your PM when you got another padawan.

Gotcha, and thanks Skiara. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't making some retarded mistake, like looking over an outdated list or something. As it is, over the past few days, I've been having brain farts on a more frequent basis...maybe it's my age .

Oak would be a great adopter. It's just said that his RL is a bit problematic at the moment.
Sithian, what do you think about Darth_Sabith or Liverpool? Or if you want a really active one, Strid above is currently looking for a good padawan.
Oh, I know of the age of 22 (for females at least). Wait until you reach the year of 30. It's said that it will be... not sure what... but some guys are discussing it here.
