Just a quick head-up, I'm just going through all PMs and all threads, which needs some time. And RL doesn't stop when one is on holiday as well, so I'll go through all posts above tomorrow (ASAP). I hope it's ok for you. 
Just a little advice, if you're looking for a master or a padawan, don't hesitate to take a look at the lists on the first page and send a PM to them.

So, finally I worked through all the posts in here and did all changes, means the first page will be updated in some minutes.
Glee, I've added you to the list of free newbies, but as NYCitygurl and Trika mentioned earlier, you're welcome to send a PM to the available oldbies. Have you done this already?
Sithian, did I got you right, that you want to be adopted yourself?
I'm sorry for the confusing PM. Please, let me know, if I can help you in anyway, ok?
Gunny, normally I check all oldbies on the available list regularly and delete those who haven't signed in for at least one month. Is there one I have over-seen? Then you're welcome to let me know.
Textmachine, have you decided already, if you want to be adopted or not? It can be very helpful, becaues a master can tell you what you should do and what not, where to find nice places and so on. You don't need to do the training program, if that is the part you worry about.

This sounds really cool, but I'm confused, is there a difference between the adoption and jedi/sith training? I'd be interested either way. I'm new here on the forums btw.

Hi, Rex! Nice to meet you, and welcome to the JC! There really isn't a difference between what is adoptions and what is the Jedi/Sith training program. Being adopted just means finding a mentor on the JC who knows the ropes and can help you get used to things around here, and as an adopter/adoptee pair, you and your master can decide if you want to do a training program to get a better feel for the boards. So, technically you can get adopted and get mentored without the training program, but many pairs decide to do the program. In everyday speech around here, they're pretty much the same thing.
If you're looking to get adopted quickly, I'd recommend checking out the first page of this thread and finding an available oldbie master. Send them a PM and ask to get adopted, and they'll take it from there.
