So you have no school today?
That's cool. The only thing I can remember about getting off at school was when it snowed so much that the whole school decided to go skiing. Pretty cool.

Just cold and rainy but it could be freezing on the roads, Skiara.

We didn't have many snowdays where I went to school.  The weather had to be really really bad before they called off.

My bus stop was just two houses down until I was about 8 or 9 then they moved it to where we had to walk about a 1/4 mile(.4 km) to gt to it.
At first I thought you were going to say that he told you he had to walk 10 miles up hill both ways in four feet of snow like a lot of 'older' people do.
