A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH A HISTORY OF PRODUCING
WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SOUTH SOUTHEAST ACROSS
CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI AS WELL AS SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS THIS
EVENING. THIS LINE WILL REACH A COLUMBIA MISSOURI TO ST. LOUIS TO
HIGHLAND ILLINOIS BETWEEN 10 AND 1030 PM. THIS LINE WILL BE CAPABLE
OF PRODUCING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...LARGE HAIL AND POSSIBLE
TORNADOES. IN ADDITION TO THE SEVERE WEATHER...THESE STORMS WILL BE
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD PRODUCE FLASH
FLOODING.
NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT. BE READY TO MOVE TO A STURDY STRUCTURE
BEFORE THESE SEVERE STORMS REACH YOUR LOCATION. STAY TUNED TO NOAA

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE ACROSS
NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY
DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK SHELTER NOW INSIDE A STURDY STRUCTURE AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS!
A LARGE COMPLEX OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO PARTS OF

This is like the storm two years ago almost to the week that left over 500,000 of us without power for 5 days and in some areas, over an entire week.
Latest radar image.
We're already getting winds ghusting near 50mph/80kph and it's just getting here.

My conclusion is that you stay indoors then. Let someone with a hanglider or kite and skateboard have fun out there while you stay inside, and away from windows.
If the power goes out, just post on the JC by candlelight.

Cell phone?
I hate when the power goes out. We lost ours for a couple of days last spring from storms. 
I wasn't home and could not get in because the doors were bolted from the inside...the garage door wouldn't go
up without power. It was interesting to kick my own door in.

Yeah, not so much...I really do not recommend it. Paying for the repair was not my idea of
fun. The destruction part was cool in a sledge hammer is fun sort of way.
Gotcha on the cell fees. Those can rack up if you don't have an unlimited deal.
Geez, send some of that rain south to N TX, we could use it here in my area.
