When you find that you can no longer pull yourself into an upright position from hunching overtop your keyboard in hopes of posting to a particular thread before someone beats you to it.
When you wake up somewhere around 4 am with little squares embedded into your forehead and the fic you remember reading halfway through at 11pm the night before still on your screen.
