hello there everyone.
little about me: My Name is Neo, I'm 20, male, I'm Austrian-American born in Thailand & living in Cambodia. I like star wars a fair bit but I'm not a junkie. My username is a name of the main character in a fan story I'm witting. Takes place 1000 years after ANH. I also greatly enjoy making MMVs - you can search youtube for them, the community name is NeoSoldner. I'm enjoying this forum a lot, & hope to contribute to it. I am also currently reading through the entire Star Wars novels series (courtesy of Torrent)and am seriously enjoys myself.

I've seen that you have found the literature board already, but have you visited Beyond the Saga as well? It could be interesting for you and your FanFic.

An MMV means a Movie Music Video, that's a acronym from YouTube. Actually I'm not a super fan of fanfiction, due to the fact that most of them use the same characters that are already in the novels & movies. For me personally, I like to delve into the un-accessed times and invent wholely new characters & scenarios, hence my own wannabe works.
My problem (and any help here would be just awesome) is that I'm no writer. I just can't put down into decent story format the myriad of plots, characters, & scenarios that go through my head. The tale that I have invented is actually a 4-part series, but I'll probably never get around to writing it. At least not in book-format, though I could lay out the basic (intricate) plot for anyone with an literary skills to turn attempt into something readable, ha. Cheers

Hey, there. Welcome to the JC. I'm actually out-of-town and have just been snooping around the JC for the most part, but I couldn't help noticing that you mentioned you like what we fanfic people call "original characters." Some of us, too, are not fond of reading fanfic with the same old Star Wars characters. There is a place for people like us, though! I'd encourage you to check out the fanfic resource about OCs if you want more information. And if you're ever interested in getting into writing and finding someone to help you along that path, there are plenty of resources available to help you, also. You can find a fanfic master who will take care of you and turn you into a writer. Pretty cool, eh?
That's all while I'm just on my friend's computer, but if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. We've got the links and knowledge all in our back pockets, so we're here if you need us.
