Hey.  New here, and I'm hoping to have a fun time.  Nice to see I'm not one of the only Star Wars nerds. :P

She had dark brown eyes and a slightly upturned nose. With her silver circlet and proud expression, she looked so much like royalty that I had to resist the urge to sit up straight and say, "Yes, ma'am".

May I show you something?

Take a look around. Do you see all the people at the JC-village, sitting at the fire? They are talking about SW most of the time. And there *points at another direction* you see some more people who are just planning when they meet in RL? That's called FanForce. Do you see all the people around?
You see, you're not alone. Lots of us came here and thought they were the only ones, but for some of us it was even allowed to find new friends who live closely to our RL homes.

So you did a good first step and I'm sure you'll find some good places here and some new friends - may they live close to you or on the other side of the world, that doesn't matter. You'll enjoy it.
And if you have any question or can't find your way, you're welcome to come back to WNU (if you ever leave it) and ask us. If you like, you can even get your own jedi or sith master who helps you and show you the ropes.
Enjoy your stay and have a good time.
