But.. how do you delete a PM? I think my inbox is full up because a couple of people say they've tried to pm me on here and I havent gotten them. Looked all around the pm box and I'm not seeing a delete function, unless I'm more blind than I thought. I have 9 pages worth in my inbox, (I'm lazy about that sort of thing lol) so its entirely plausible.

PMs are pretty much here to haunt you for the rest of your life. You'll need Ghostbusters, 'cause there's no deleting them. 
You say you have nine pages you haven't read? Am I interpreting that correctly? Yikes! Read some of those suckers! People want to get in touch with you! 
Once you read a PM, it goes to the "read" category and won't bother you anymore. I've got over a hundred pages' worth of read PMs myself, so it definitely won't fill up. Just read a few and see if your friends can't PM you again.

As Trika indicated, you can't delete PMs. There are only two options that could have happened:
First there was a board error and the PM just didn't get through, but this means, your friends would have get an error message of some sort, or (second) they (one person) have send you five PMs, which you haven't read / are shown as unread, already. Then that single person can't send you any PMs until you have read at least one of those PMs. There's a limit of 5 (unread) PMs of one person to avoid spam. But in this case they would have gotten an informational text about the five-PM limit as well.
That's why I suggest to ask your friends to take a look at their 'sent' folder. If it's there, you should have get the PM. If it's in their 'sent' folder and you still haven't got them, then I suggest to post this error in Comms (Tech Thread), but make sure the PM is really in their 'sent' folder first.

Oh no, I have read them, lol. I was just asking how to delete PMs you've already read to free up space in your inbox because I thought there was a limited amount of space in there as with most invisionfree forums. As to the PMs that didn't get through, I guess it's just my computer being quirky and not picking them up..or something lol. But anyway, so ..if I'm reading right, you cannot delete a pm and it doesnt effect getting any future ones, which is what I was after, thanks all

Yep, you read it correctly.
But I don't think it's your computer, because PMs are systembased and if someone send one, the forums software should show you that you got one.
As I suggested above, if you are sure that the other person checked their 'sent' folder and your PM is listed their, then I would ask in Comms' thech thread.
And I would tell your master about this weird error - to avoid a misunderstanding.
