It's great that you joined and made your own introduction thread as mentioned above. This gives us all a chance to get to know you and to welcome you. 
Since you have lurked for four years (more or less), you know where to go, right? Or do you need help and advices?
If you want, you're welcome to join our various social threads as well like the Welcome Newbie Party, the pillow fight, the hugging... ehm, there you have been already. This is cool!  I hope to see you more often there.

It's nice to have you on board, but it would be better to create your own introduction thread instead of using someone else's, because it could lead to hijacking and that's not nice behaviour. So go ahead and create your own thread.

Thanks for the welcome. I think I know my way around, and I'd like to get to know people.
I s'pose I should start, I'm female, 23, and taking waay too long to finish college.
I'm on year five of a "four year" degree and still have another year and a half to do.
I've loved Star Wars ever since my brother's friend brought over the original films on VHS when we were little kids.
Since then I've spent too much of my disposable income on the novels, and my brother and I wore out our own VHS tape.

It's cool that you want to get to know us. The best way would be participating in the Welcome Newbie Party or the other social threads like the pillow fight or the hugging thread. Just take a look and you'll see, it's easy to get involve - just start chatting, whacking with pillows or hugging.
It looks like you've started early with SW. I had to wait until I could read, because my first experience was through a book (at least I think so ).
