It was a bit of a quarrel the past weeks with a lot of dirty tricks from a certain university, but the school backed me up. Of course they ´punished´ me by just giving me a 6. See, a 10 is the best mark in the Netherlands/ 6 is "you got your diploma" and everything under 6 is "you did not get it". I already did some steps to prevent that more blue-eyed people fall for this... European teacher ex-change program. Some nasty Normans did teach me in the past how to play unfairly. Actually I am astonished that I can smile and act sithly. Perhaps it was time to find out about my dark side. hands out some champagne glasses with champagne on it Cheers, folks! Prost, Leute! 	Computer problems, Skiara. My main computer is out(need a new hard drive) so I have to use my laptop which is kind of inconvenient. I also ordered an upgraded video card and 2 more GB or RAM. Well I got the video card Tuesday but nothing else so that doesn't do me any good. Plus busy with work and seeing my gf. I won't be around this weekend. I'm going into hiding for a couple days. I get to go to the Columbus Zoo on the 4th. I haven't been there since I was little, and I'm excited to go back. We only have to renew our zoo pass for the Akron Zoo to get in a half price. 	Congratulations, Azure!!!! It's awesome you got your diploma, not so nice about the 6, but you are through it for the moment, right? Who'll really look after the marks in the end? It's just counting, how good you are in teaching in reality. And in fact that's rarely something, which can be measured by "objective" marks, it's often the ones with the good marks, who were only good in charming, not actually quite good in teaching Darth_Gangrenous posted: Hi Cem, long time no see. I haven't seen you around, if I was around, which was rarely enough, I guess Just got my mark for one of thesis' 1,7 in the german system, I think it should be either A- or B+ in yours. It's pretty good and I'm very happy. I'm just glad the presentation didn't count, I really suck at presentations I was embarassing myself a little bit actually, I think... Talking too fast, too much and tripping over words at times, although they might be not too bad, otherwise I would have been even faster talking sigh Skiara posted: ...like me. 	Thanks morri and JJJ. Congrats on the good score, Cem. whacks Dell I got my new video card yesterday but they sent the memory seperately and I won't get that probably until Friday. The hard drive I was told was out of stock but they were working as fast as they could and are going to ship it overnight once it's availible. A few minutes ago, the guy I talked to last Friday about it said they were having problems loading the softwear onto it because it's an older modle hard drive and the newer softwear for some reason isn't going on there. They are sending me a blank hard drive which I'll have to install my operating system on. He said I should get it tomorrow or Friday at the latest. One guy(the manager) tells me it's out of stock and another guy tells me they have it so even they don't know what the hell is going on. 	Thanks a lot, DG You are sure, they aren't just too lazy to get your software on the harddrive? Otherwise they must be stupid...
