	Hi I am new here to the boards! I am a huge fan of star wars and would like to meet other people like me. Really to be honest I don't know all that much about Star Wars like the in's and out's of things so if you could tell me a little bit about this and that then that would be greatly appreciated! Edit: I'm locking this, since it's an old introduction thread and the new ones should be at the top. Well, here's thefan fiction resource, and there's also different forums to post fan fics about different eras of the Star Wars universe. 	None of the movies are my favorites actually when I first got into Star Wars I read a book by George Lucas called "Silver Moon" I found out that he made "Star Wars" and I was curious as to what it was I went to my sanctuary (Local library) and found a book by Timothy Zahn called Heir to the Empire. Now my favorite "Star Wars" collection has been getting bigger. 	Hai, Nadia! Tim Zahn was the first Star Wars author I ever picked up. Fell in love with Thrawn at the ripe age of fourteen or so. As for other Star Wars information, you can talk SW until your eyes and ears start bleeding over in the films section. There's a thread about everything around those parts, so I'd recommend finding a thread, reading the first page and then the last couple of pages, and then jumping right into the discussion. There are some neat people over there, including some people who participate in trivia games and seem to know everything about the whole SW universe. You'll like it over there if you'd like to know more about the saga. Just let us know if we can help you in any way. We're always here to help you find things, understand things, or just for a neat story or two of hilarious antics around the boards. See you around! My favorite star wars books are the Jedi Academy Trilogy by Kevin J Anderson, you should check those out if you haven't already. 	Grimbly? What did he do? Welcome Nadia-Oomia! As the posters above said already, don't worry to ask anyone of us, if you have questions or need help. That's why we are here in WNU (and maybe because of the nice people around ). There is so much we could write about the whole forum, but that would break the whole system I guess. So, I give you my suggestion: Start here in WNU and discover the boards one after another. Whenever you feel overhelmed or afraid or just have questions or anything else, come back to WNU (we'll help you, if you want). There's so much out there, that you'll need some time, but it's worth to discover every corner (and don't forget to check out your local FanForce, if you're interested in meeting people from your area).
