Basically, Elliot and I reviewed two of his new edits for some of the opening scenes. A certain cast member is moving interstate come February, so we're working to cut that person's scenes so we can do the dialogue for them before they depart. Elliot, though, has more time to devote to it, and the results of the edit are showing both his time and growing experience. The balcony and training scenes look nice and even punchier than they were before. Elliot and I will be talking on a more frequent basis as each scene gets done.

I've really gotta hand it to Darran for setting up a portable hard disk for the editing process.  It dosn't make any difference to the ease of the editing itself, but now I can go over to Michael's house, show him where the scene is at, get his opinion, note down what he may want changed...and then do it right then and there on my laptop instead of going home then having to come back to Michael's days later.
Fantastic.

So how far along in the edit are you? Is there enough to, Saintheart willing, have a small screening so we can touch-base with the rest of the cast/crew? It's been a while since we've all been together it'd be good to catch up with everyone again.
