Random question I know.
A mate and myself are really into caving. Squeezing through tight cracks, not knowing if the roof is about to cave in on your head, running out of clean air, nasty spider bites, the pitch black darkness, getting dirty, getting wet, recieving nasty cuts and bruises etc all make up the fun happy But most of all, it's the little sense of exploration and adventure that make us take the risk wink
Opening speech over.

We're looking for some cool caves to cram into. We're heading down to Margs and Albany at the end of the year to get caving (and surfing ofcourse!!!) but we're looking for some around the Perthish region.
Anyone know of any caves that they may have just driven by? Along any rivers? Ones you played in when you were a kid?

Freaking random I know. But ahwell, may as well ask.

PS: We found an awesome cave system around Blackwall Reach. Had to turn back after 60 metres because we hadn't laid down a guide rope and we were worried about getting lost.

Not other than the standard touristy ones, which you can walk in... sad

Well, where there’s big caves….there’s always little ones hidden nearby.
So hit me up, Albany boy.

In year 12 I went on a Photography school camp. Our teacher was really in to caving and took us to several caves that aren't visited by tourists. I wouldn't know how to get to any of them now since it was a fair while back but they were all kinda in the Margaret River area. Some we had to walk through a lot of bush or abseil to get to. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a caving association/club or something that you could get in touch with for tips on good places to go.
