I've been there. To Cabazon I mean, not the museum. Too hokey. Cabazon did have a nice little outlet mall though back in the early '90's.
I'm late to this thread, but the fact that tom "liked" this post made me crack up. In fact I'm gonna go back and "like" it too.
1. In Genesis 6:3 "And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." Now that is the least the limit, however we do see a few who get over that from that point like the priest Jehodia(?) from Kings. But those are the people who have a special blessing. Have we regressed? Yes probably. 2. I said normal to just distinguish my thought. He created everyone, but God made Adam to be the representation for mankind. When Adam fell, all mankind fell, including those around. We see this today as God has tried to make Israel separate from the way the world works in order to convict the world to righteousness, but Israel failed to do that, and Christianity today hasn't done as good as a job either. He didn't hate the people. He doesn't want any to perish, but there must be justice done for crimes done, but there is always a remnant left to try and bring people to repentance. 3. Now this I'm not sure if its true or not, but in jewish folklore Lillith was originally supposed to be Adam's wife, but didn't want to be and so left. That's why Eve was taken from the rib of Adam, she was a different creation. And Eve's real name is Chava/Hava.The sons of God line was from Seth, due to Abel being murdered by Cain (which again references other people being around as he was afraid to be killed by others). The sons of God were supposed to be say the remnant, or the separate ones from the world. But they mixed in, which caused problems. 4. There are many different things about angels I don't understand. I've looked it up, and its so confusing, I don't want to go there right now, but eventually I'll try to get back into it. But this I do know: Satan was the highest angel, but because though he wanted to be God and hated the idea of mankind being higher than angels in a way he rebelled. When he rebelled he took a third of the angels he had with him, and a whole bunch of other things besides angels. So demons aren't necessarily fallen angels, but we do know they're at least "unclean spirits".
Yes they are. Just look at "Good Food" Should it not be pronounced "gu̇d fu̇d"? Or how about "güd füd"?
I actually like Bibilical mythology; I can watch the shows on H2 and SCi channels that discuss the origins of the stories and their misconceptions all day.
