I'm totally serious, I love how it tells an entire story just with the postures and facial expressions: we've caught them at the end of a presentation—a sales pitch, maybe—and they've each drifted off into their own little private reverie. Garm's trying to think of what to say next but his mind keeps slipping inexorably back to a vision of his hands wrapping around Mon Mothma's infuriatingly smooth, white... lovely... throat... and squeezing... squeezing together as tightly as his trousers suddenly feel...

Meanwhile Mothma's oblivious, her eyes locked in the thousand-yard stare of the true fanatic—perhaps taking in the glorious vision of a thousands-strong flotilla of these wonder weapons thrusting like a lance into the vile festering boil that was once Coruscant until its shields are punctured and the city laid bare to the purifying righteous fire of liberty...

Only poor Bail, bless him, is actually still paying attention to the lazily spinning holo: it's a neat design, to be sure, but he's troubled with how in the galaxy they'll be able to find pilots tiny enough to fit inside so small a cockpit...

Darn, we should have had them walking in a line across a Nexu Crossing, with Bail with no shoes on. That would have been cool too.

*chuckle* I thought it did a great job of dropping a twisty baradium grenade on our perceptions... but it's worth bearing in mind that Jacen gets some page time in Warfare, too....

Given that the book has to cover the NJO and the 2GCW, it was pretty inevitable that we'd end up having to say something about his actions and his motivations.

I would also be happy to learn that post-Endor the Ewoks formed special forces units composed of their most vicious warriors to serve the New Republic.

sure, if written by Jedi Historian Ken Palpatine for Voren Naals Galactic Guide to History's Section on Debatable and not yet cleared history theory papers (among which all Clone Wars accounts are kept trying to establish the inuniverse penultimate chronology) based on facts provided by Jedi Archeologists Tash and Zak Arranda under guidance from the Galactic Alliance's Special History Division's Elite & Crisis Documentation Unit lead by Shi'ido Hoole in collaboration with the Imperial Council of Propaganda, History and Cultural Studies lead by Cult and Forceuser History expert, former Emperors Hand and now retired Fleet Admiral Marek Steele. and only then I would accept it!

Pics of fleet battles, Cal Omas, and others would be great, but I'm really hoping for a pic of the New Academy for Space Pilots.

I am always in favor of Mon Cal pilots and fleet officers.

I wish B-wings in general got more love. For that matter, the same with Y-wings. The assault fighters and bombers always get less coverage than the glamous space superiority fighters and interceptors like the X-wing and A-wing.

true, though I find the lack of Z-95/96 etc. disturbing as well. Seems Mara bought the entire stock left and is the sole user of them. Or all those nice little X-wing and Tie-Fighter games vessels like T-Wings, variants etc.

The little Fleetjunkiepart in me also misses Strike Cruisers, Star Gallons and all those lovelies a lot!

He Z-95 variants are in The Clone Wars cartoon and we also got some in the EGTW in the Battle of Tannab pic we got as preview as well. They even showed up in LOTF and the NJO.
